JEREMY MERRILL - Art Educator

Born & Raised in San Diego, Mr. Merrill attended San Diego State University after high school, obtaining a degree in graphic design, followed by a teaching credential and a Masters in education.  He has been teaching art at Hoover High School since the 2000-2001 school year. 

The goal of his course is to teach all students to improve their artistic skills at a pace appropriate to their ability level and skill-set. Students are taught as though they have no prior experience, and they are guided through exercises designed to develop their talents. Some students may find these exercises tedious, and some may find them simple, but through effort and hard work, they will be successful.Students that complete this course of study successfully will find themselves more capable of expressing themselves creatively and artistically.
